Here's a review of a new release
from Twobobs. This sheet features2 different F-16C Wolfpack Bandits
with 8th Fighter Wing based at Kunsan AB in Korea in October 2007. If you
are a Kusan Viper pilot, you are in for plenty of flying time which is a good
thing for most pilots. The 8th FW does not fly aggressor missions, but due
to the pending "jet swap" between the 8th FW and the 18th FS, these
jets were painted in the new 18th FS aggressor scheme prior to flying to Eielson
AFB, AK.
Between the great 3 tone camo
scheme and the mission in Korea, these jets capture my the imagination in
a big way. These camo schemes rock and you have a choice between the
single seater and the 2 seater. Twobobs has included 2 full set of
stencils so you also have the option to build both jets.

The instructions are clear and
include 4 views of each aircraft and 13 color walkaround photos of the real
aircraft. The decals are beautifully printed on 1
decal sheet. There Paint codes are called out in FS #'s, Testors MM,
Humbrol, Gunze Sangyo and Xtracrylics. It's difficult to get accurate
paint matches from the mainline model paint suppliers, but if you check out Don
Color at
http://www.jpsmodell.de/main_e.htm,
you will find some excellent acrylic paints for these aggressor aircraft. Another
cool feature of this decal sheet is the addition of decals for the missiles.
A big thanks goes out to Twobobs
for making this sheet happen!!!
