A friend of mine from Odessa, Ukraine sent several decals from this company range to me and I felt I should share with you lot especially when this manufacturer is not covered in the review section of ARCair.

A pack of six decals each in each plastic bag with a colour sleeve arrived to Delhi a few days ago. I am now a proud owner of the following

- 72-12 Su-17M3/M4 Fitter H/K (1:72)

- 72-09 An-12 Cub (1:72)

- 72-08 Su-25 Frogfoot Part 1 (1:72)

- 72-01 Su-24 Fencer D (1:72)

- 144-07 Tu-160 Blackjack (1:144)

- 144-01 IL-76 Candid (1:144)

Each decal sheet is printed on a (size) white or pale blue paper. All crisply printed, colour is very precise and tuned down to scale with all roundels also in register. I used a few decals of this range before and can assure you that they respond very well to Decal Sol and Decal Set or similar liquids we use from time to time for better settlement of the decals on uneven surfaces.

Each decal comes with black and white instruction on one or two double-sided A4 size pages. Each instruction provides the exact position of each element on the plane for each specific option and offers a colour scheme with colour reference for Federal Standard, Humbrol, Model Master Revel and Gunze Sangyo. Although made in Ukraine all the text is doubles in English.

And finally, the sleeve is a thin colour cardboard to protect the item inside from bending. Fro our convenience it provides some colour reference for the camo schemes.

One word to describe those is superb. I would highly recommend those to any enthusiast modeller building the VVS and/or FSU and their allies kits and some cover also post soviet era too.

Should you wish to check the rest of their range you can go to the web site www.olimpmodelsgroup.com/ which also provides information on the shops around the world which trade their product.
