Covering 5
total jets from the Navy's Hornet Fleet Reserve Training Squadron (FRS) VFA-125
at NAS Lemoore is the subject of one of Fightertown
Decal's latest
releases. A mix of F/A-18A, B and C jets, these are some of the more colorful
and unique Hornets flying at Lemoore. While VFA-125 provides training for all
West Coast Hornet pilots, they have often painted up some of their jets to
represent adversaries that are especially effective in the strike and air-to-air
portions of training. This sheet includes several of these adversaries.

One of the most recent additions
to the Rough Raiders stable of jets is 401 "Casper" - the white
Hornet. This jet has a unique history in that it has been used in test and
evaluation roles for most of it's life. VFA-125 wanted to retain the all white
paint scheme that it arrive in.
Also covered is one of the most striking camouflage schemes to be applied to a
Hornet - the green 400. This jet was painted up to both commemorate the
contribution of Marines in the Raider's ranks as well as to provide the squadron
with a new adversary scheme. It also continues to fly in the regular scheduling
of training.
The decals are printed by
Cartograf and has the absolute minimum clear around the art. Colors are all
matched to FS paints so that the decals will perfectly match your paint job.
Additionally all decals are printed as single piece.
Fightertown includes it's
standard formation lights, landing gear placards, ejection seat placards and
other details to complete 2 full models while the main sheet allows you to build
all 5 jets. Helmet markings, patches and other fine details ensure that your
