This new decal sheet from Zotz Decals includes markings for 9 different 1/32 F-4E Phantom II from 388th TFW at Korat circa '68/'69.

The 9 aircraft are  Phantoms wearing SEA camo with Sharks Mouth and all are sporting artwork and include:   

  • F-4E Phantom II 72-0308 Block 35 "Betty Lou" 388th TFW 469th TFS at Korat Royal Thai Air Base in July 1968.  This plane crashed in a training exercise in California in 1985.

  • F-4E Phantom II 67-0275 Block 34 "Sweetie Pie" 388th TFW 34th and 469th TFS at Korat Royal Thai Air Base in May 1968.  This plane became a MiG killer in 1972, served a long career and resides at the Dutch Military Aviation Museum.

  • F-4E Phantom II 67-0371 Block 36 "Arizonia Chicken" 388th TFW 34th and 469th TFS at Korat Royal Thai Air Base in October 1968.  This aircraft was sold to Egypt in 1979.

  • F-4E Phantom II 67-0279 Block 34 "Tiny Bubbles" 388th TFW 34th TFS at Korat Royal Thai Air Base in June 1968.  This plane was lost ( probably AAA fire) over Laos on June 20 1972.

  • F-4E Phantom II 67-0208 Block 33 "Here Come The Judge" 388th TFW 34th TFS at Korat Royal Thai Air Base in March 1968.  This plane was sold to Turkey in 1984.

  • F-4E Phantom II 67-0342 Block 36 "Lil Buddha" 388th TFW 34th TFS at Korat Royal Thai Air Base in September 1968.  This plane was sold to Turkey in 1984.

  • F-4E Phantom II 67-0290 Block 35 "Super Spook" 388th TFW 469th TFS at Korat Royal Thai Air Base in June 1968.  This plane was sold to Turkey in 1984.

  • F-4E Phantom II 67-0228 Block 34 "Nit Noy Boye II" 388th TFW 34th TFS at Korat Royal Thai Air Base in March 1968.  This plane was sold to Korea in 1985.

  • F-4E Phantom II 67-0288 Block 35 "Gator" 388th TFW 469th TFS at Korat Royal Thai Air Base in June 1968.  

The instructions are clear and include at least 1 side profile along with 4 color views to show camo layout.  

This is from a time period when the Vietnam War was rising to the peak and this decal sheets capture some of the colorful SEA F-4's that fought in that time period.
