Christmas Sale 2007!!!      at  Meteor Productions.  5 days only....ends Dec 5. Click here for all the details

Albert Moore is here with his first class 1/72 Hasegawa F-15C Eagle.  Alby added quite a few aftermarket resin and photo etch goodies to bring up the detail on his Eagle.  Alby then had to strip the paint to get it the way he wanted it before finishing it off in Afterburner Decals to get this cool desert camo scheme.  Alby's persistence was well rewarded.

Gianni Chirico has been busy building and finishing his 1/72 Supermodel Macchi MC.205V Veltro.  Gianni was challenged by this older kit, but he still managed to rescribe the panel lines and give it a flawless camo paint job.  I love the camo used on these WW2 Italian fighters.

Shmuel Boyarski has gone to extreme lengths on his 1/32 Tamiya F-4E Phamtom II.  This plane has a SEA camo and Israeli markings and was completed using a Cutting Edge conversion set.  Shmuel added lighting to his Phantom including inside the burner cans and cockpit.  You have to check it out.

After 29 years, I have decided to finally quit my job.  During the coming weeks I will be helping out during the transition phase to ensure the business isn't adversely affected.  I plan to take 2 years off and live off savings while I ponder what I want to do with my time.  This will give me time to focus on my family and ARC and get to a  few projects I've been putting off.

I spent 8 hours yesterday and I'll spend a most of today supervising the excavation of our backyard.  After 3 months of waiting, the crew has arrived to remove the raised shrub garden that takes up the whole of our tiny backyard and drop the whole area down 2 to 3 feet  so I can begin putting in gardens for myself and a lawn for my kids to play on.  I'll be doing the backyard with a slight  Japanese garden theme.  As I write this late Thursday night, I'm pretty tired.....it's been an exhausting week (did 4 major services on various cars and 7 brake jobs).  Construction is booming in our city, so long waits for any sort of work is the norm.  I hope to have this project wrapped up by late spring or early summer.....my daughter wants a summertime birthday in the new backyard.  There's always got to be a deadline.....

  Algeria Revolution Day

We had a heck of a time with the kids last night Trick or Treating and doing all the Halloween activities.  Between pumpkin carving after school before we went out, then the kids staying up later than normal....it left little time for putting together an update.
