Charge of the Light Brigade in the Crimean war

Hot Babe of the Week!  this week  from Twobobs is courtesy of  John Bibay. I spent a little bit of time at AMARG a couple of weeks ago for the day job and had the opportunity to spend a few hours out in the yard. Saw lots of S-3's and actually got a lot of photos of this weeks subject all wrapped in spraylat. Sad scene but it was the motivation for me to put this jet up as the Hot Babe this week. Thanks John!     Bob

Pete Morgan has gone all out on his 1/48 Tornado GR4.  Pete added detail almost everywhere from Paragon seats and wheels to a spot on weapons load which has some added mods done to it for added accuracy.  But Pete didn't stop there......for markings he chose an anniversary scheme which he completed using custom made decals.  Wow...grab your favourite hot drink and sit back and enjoy the photos.

David Walker has fufilled a long dream to build himself a Red 19.  To do this he started with the 1/48 Eduard Focke-Wulf 190 A-8 kit and then researched everything to get all the details perfect.  The paint scheme alone is flawless, but when displayed on the base with all the accessories....wow....what a impressive sight.  David tells the very interesting history of this aircraft including the pilot and also goes into great detail about building the Eduard kit and what to watch out for in the process.  Amazing work David.

Chris Doppel is 12 years old and today he joins us with his very sharp looking 1/48 Esci FJ-2/3 'Jolly Rogers' Fury.  Chris folded one of the wings to give his model  a more realistic look and then chose the legendary Jolly Rogers markings for his Fury.  And he was able to source some of the markings with the big help from fellow ARC'ers.  I am very impressed with the finished model and I look forward to seeing more work by Chris in the future.

Orlando Sucre is here on his daughter's birthday with his Aurora Viking Ship.  This is a kit that is over 50 years old and Orlando decided to improve upon the original details of the model by doing much custom a painting to items (such as the shields) instead of using decals.  The big focal point is the custom made sail that was sewn by Orlando's wife and then custom painted by Orlando.  This really is an eye catching model of a very interesting type of ship that we all have heard about in legends from long ago.
