Karl Wenk joins us with his second article on ARC.  This is his 1/72 Planet Models Fw 3x1000 Entwurf B. which is the second of 3 designs for this special late war bomber design.  Karl built it using a resin kit and flawlessly finished it with a great looking camo.

Majd Abbar is here with another in his airliner series.  This is his 1/200 Hogan Airbus A340 finished to a very high standard in Qatar livery.  Very nice indeed.

Liberation of Camp Pangatian, Philippines

Jamie McIntyre is here today with his first model on ARC.  This is his 1/48 Smer MiG-17F/Lim-6 bis finished in Afghan markings.  Jamie has chosen a interesting MiG-17 and the job he did on the markings and baremetal finish is first rate.  I'm quite pleased to welcome Jamie to ARC.  Stunning work Jamie.

Charlies Rodriguez has done quite a bit of scratchbuilt detailing on his 1/48 Kitty Hawk UH-1H Huey.  Charlies has a passion for the Huey and you can see that in the effort he puts into each of his models.  This Huey is finished as a US Army bird that served in El Salvador.

Majd Abbar is here with his very attractive 1/200 Hogan Boeing 747-8i.  Majd finished this beauty in Qatar livery to a very high standard.

Christos Papadopoulos is well known on ARC for his highly detailed models and today he is here with his 1/32 Trumpeter Messerschmitt Bf109G-2/TROP with full engine detailing.   Christos started with the kit engine and then added layer after layer of scratchbuilt detailing to complete this beauty.  He also used aftermarket items to detail the cockpit and then finished it all off with a stunning weathering job.  Amazing work Christos.

Majd Abbar is here with the latest in his airliner series.  This is his 1/200 Hasegawa Boeing 777-300 ER finished in the livery for Qatar.   Very nice indeed.

Thomas Brückelt is here with something very interesting today.  This is his 1/160 Faller GZ-20A Blimpe which is quite the iconic aircraft.  Thomas explains the build process in very helpful detail.  This is very cool to see.

  Space Shuttle Challenger Accident 1986 

Stephen & Lyta Carr are here with their latest project.  This is Lyta's Snoopy Verses the Red Baron completed as a wall hanging.  The Snoopy figure and kennel (doghouse) were made from scratch and Stephen explains that in their article.  I LOVE the job Lyta did on her latest model here on ARC.  Well done Lyta!!! (and you too Stephen...you two make an excellent team) 

Majd Abbar is here with his beautifully finished 1/200 Hasegawa Airbus A321.  I'm very much enjoying his series of airliners.

Tolga Ülgür is here with another of his beauties.  This is his highly detailed and beautifully weathered 1/32 Special Hobby Hawker Tempest Mk.V.  Tolga used a nose correction set and aftermarket goodies and scratchbuilt parts to complete his Tempest and then finished it in the markings for French Ace Pierre Clostermann.  Beautiful work Tolga.

Australia Day

India Republic Day

Murli Rajan is here to begin this special Indian Republic Day update with his sharp looking 1/72 Fujimi Westland Seaking Mk.42.  Murli chose to weather and finish his Seaking as a Indian Navy Seaking.

Tom Thounaojam is here with 2 articles today and the first is his 1/72 Hobbyboss Dassault Rafale B & C.  Tom gave both jets drop tanks and weapons  and finished them in a current paint scheme.

Leonard Prakasam has finished the 1/72 Hobbycraft DHC-4 Caribou to a very high standard with careful panel shading for subtle weathering giving very pleasing results. 

Aamod Potdar is here with his great looking 1/72 Italeri Jaguar IS.  Aamod airbrushed the camo scheme with very successful results on his Indian Jaguar. 

Murli Rajan is here with his very colourful 1/72 Special Hobby Folland Gnat.  Murli gave it weathering and displayed in on an attractive diorama base. 

Sherbir has been busy building his 1/72 Italeri SEPECAT Jaguar-IM.  Sherbir converted the Jaguar GR.1 to Jaguar-IM (Maritime version) and then gave it a flawless weathering job.  Shebir also gave his in-flight model a weapons load to show it's abilities.  I quite like the diorama base on this Jaguar.

Aamod Potdar is here with a classic jet that served India for decades.  This is his 1/48 Italeri Hawker Hunter IAF finished to a very high standard with a great looking camo scheme.

Tom Thounaojam is here with something different.  This is his 1/72 Italeri C-47 in Indian Air Force markings.  I quite like the look of this transport in it's IAF livery.

Murli Rajan is here with his very colourful 1/72 BAe Hawk Mk.132 'Surya Kirans' IAF.  The Surya Kiran (Rays of the Sun) is an aerobatics demonstration team if the Indian Air Force and this Hawk looks fantastic.

Aamod Potdar is here with a classic eastern bloc jet flown by India.  This is his 1/72 Hasegawa MiG-25 RB that is beautifully finished in Indian Air Force markings. 

Murli Rajan finishes up this special update with his 1/72 Heller Junkers Ju 52.  Murli gave his Ju-52 a stunning weathering job.

Model shows this weekend:

Shawn “phantom” Weiler is here with the Canadian version of the C-54.  Shawn actually built two of the 1/72 Revell/Belcher Bits North Stars.  With the Belcher Bit set and the Revell kit, Shawn was able to create 2 of these Northstars in their attractive looking paint schemes.  It's great to see these on ARC, great looking work Shawn.

Majd Abbar is here with his perfect looking 1/200 Hasegawa Boeing 727 using Nazca Decals.  Majd was impressed with the fit of this kit.

Dragan Cvetic has done an excellent job on his 1/72 ICM Ki-27 Nate.  Dragan had a challenging time with the fit during the build of this Ki-27, but the finished model sure does look nice.

Here's a product article for the 1/48 Me 262 A-1A/U4 landing gear Landing Gear from Scale Aircraft Conversions.  The nose gear in this set was unique to this variant of the Me 262 which was fitted with a 50mm Mauser cannon in the nose.

Rafi Ben-Shahar begins today with his sharp looking 1/48 Eduard Tempest V.  Rafi did find some aspects of this kit were lacking, but there no doubt it does build into a very convincing Tempest as you will see in his photos.  Looks great Rafi.

Majd Abbar is here with first in his new series of Airliners featuring Qatar livery.  This is his 1/200 Hasegawa Airbus A320 finished to a very high standard.  Beautiful work indeed.

Jens Gerber has done a stunning job building and finishing his 1/48 ICM Do 215 B4.  Jens explains some areas that require some added effort on this kit, but in skilled hands it does build into an exceptional looking model of this German bomber.

Sebastian Piechowiak is here with his first model on ARC.  This is his beautifully finished 1/48 Airfix Ju-87B2 Tropical in desert camo with the eye catching snake artwork.  I'm excited to see more of Sebastian's models on ARC.  Welcome to ARC Sebastian!!! 

Thomas Brückelt is here with a very special Starfighter today.  This is his 1/72 Hasegawa Lockheed F-104S 50th NATO Anniversary wearing an Italian scheme.  Thomas did some excellent work on his F-104S.

  Martin Luther King, Jr. Day 

Ricardo Cornejo is here with some great photos of the recent "Red October exhibition"Model Show - IPMS Chile.  Enjoy the photos...it looks like an enjoyable show.

Greg Kerry has done a very effective job creating his realistic looking 1/72 Academy Fw190D & Spitfire XVI diorama.  Greg explains his successful technique for creating the flames and smoke used in his diorama.  A very cool display Greg.

Michael Hickey did a stunning job detailing his 1/48 Hasegawa F-4E Phantom II.  Michael added exhausts and a cockpit set from Aires and Seamless Sucker intakes and finished it all off as a weathered jet in Greek markings.  This is one sweet Phantom.

Tolga Ülgür starts today with another of his masterpieces.  This is his 1/32 Hasegawa Messerschmitt Bf 109 G2 with plenty of resin and photo etch goodies to improve the detail.  The finished model is truly a treat to see. 

Carl Jarosz has been very busy this winter with his sharp looking 1/48 Kinetic F-84F Thunderstreak.  Carl was very skillful on the baremetal finish as you will see in his photos and the colorful markings are for the Indiana ANG which look fantastic.  Beautiful work Carl.

Michael Phillips has put some very nice effort into his 1/48 Academy U-2S Dragon Lady - Blackcat Lady.  This is based on an older kit and Michael rescribed the raised panel lines and added a resin nose and resin cockpit before giving it a full weathering job and aftermarket decals.  The end result is a very pleasing U-2S.

Thomas Brückelt is here with the first model on ARC of this Italian fighter from WW2.  This is his 1/72 Italeri Reggiane RE 2002 Ariete finished with weathering and some hand painted markings.  It's good to see this one on ARC.

Mark L. Rossmann is here with his sharp looking Korean War jet.  This is his  "Korea Star” 1/32 Czech F-80C Shooting Star finished with noseart and a sharks mouth.  Mark has included some great F-80 Korean War history and I know you will enjoy the read as well as the photos of his jet.

Graham Symmonds has done a stellar job on his 1/48 Seaking HAR. Mk. 3.  Graham added aftermarket goodies from Eduard and Flightpath and added further detailing before finishing it as a SAR chopper with just a subtle weathering job.

Mike Krahn has put plenty of effort into scratchbuilding the interior on his 1/48 Revell B-17E along with some kit bashing and aftermarket goodies.  The camo scheme is from the Pacific and was applied in Hawaii with available paints.  Mike did some exceptional work on this early B-17.

Dragan Cvetic upgraded the cockpit detail on his 1/72 Hasegawa J-35J Draken with his scratchbuilt details and then finished it with a beautifully weathered paint scheme.  Beautiful work Dragan.

Pavel Maksimov is here with the final big Stuka in his series.  This is his 1/32 Hasegawa Ju-87D with detail goodies from Verlinden and Eduard to add to the already good detail on this big Hasegawa kit. Pavel's work is always exceptional....enjoy.  You can check out his other JU-87's by clicking the link at the bottom of his article.

Carl Jarosz hit a bullseye with his 1/48 Trumpeter F-106A Delta Dart.  It's a beautiful build with an aftermarket pilot seat and subtle weathering and finished in the markings of the 120th FIG, Montana ANG.

 Russia - Soviet counteroffensive under Stalingrad. The beginning of the end (1943) 

Fred Branyan is here with his spectacular historical reproduction of a plane with a special connection.  This is his 1/48 AMT A20G beautifully reproduced from historical photos.  This one is a beauty.

Sertac Bayar has done a gorgeous job detailing and finishing his 1/32 Italeri F-104S.  Sertac finished it as a Turkish jet with a great looking camo scheme and the perfect amount of weathering.

63CPE begins today with a great what-if build for his GAF Corsair II.  This article includes a very interesting story about the history of this Australian A-7 Corsair II.

63CPE is here to keep the RAF fans happy with his what-if build of the Supermarine Stiletto F1e.  This is an evolution of the Supermarine Swift.

63CPE has been very creative in making this Bristol 142m-2.  The design was inspired by the Blohm und Voss BV 141 and was beautifully executed.

63CPE also joins us today with this imaginative build of the Sukhoi Su-15 MP "Mantra".  This design actually looks like something that should have been built.

Kees Kuyper is here with a classic what-if.  This is his Seahunter, which is a Hunter with floats based in Scotland. 

Dave Bailey, aka The Rat is here with his what-if air racer article entitled The Red-winged Blackbird.  Dave provided a background story about the RAF pilot that flew this Spitfire found in a crate in Myanmar.

Kees Kuyper was very creative with this Waterglider.  This is a glider fitted with 2 small enignes and floats and all wrapped up in a very elegant design.

Kees Kuyper has taken the classic Skycrane and converted it into a Osprey Skycrane by using the engines and motors off an Osprey.  This actually looks quite viable as a design.

Union of Myanmar Independence Day

Dave Bailey is here with a classic what-if article.  This is his tail dragging B-25 COD design for the US Navy.  An enjoyable read. 

Kees Kuyper is here with his Waterglider with engines that pop up out of the floats.  Kees has created something very unique here....I salute to creative thinking. 

63CPE is here with his twin engined MiG-15 OPLR.  There is quite a bit of thought to take a MiG 15 and turn it into a twin engined jet.  I enjoyed the story that goes along with this model.

Kees Kuyper is here with the first of his creative designs today.  This is his Duo Discus Autogiro, which is an autogiro with an aggressive design.  Very cool indeed.

Kees Kuyper is here with a wild design for a glider.  This is his Waterglider which is a glider with floats that is towed behind a raceboat.  I like the way Kees thinks.

Shawn “phantom” Weiler is here with his 1/3? AMT USS Enterprise Bridge No Bloody A,B,C or D.  This is a classic Sci-Fi kit.

Dave Bailey begins Silly Week 2019 with the first in a series of What-if articles about the Cuban Missiles Crisis.  Today's article is Cuban Missile Crisis: the French Response.  Silly Week is off to a good start with Dave leading the way.

H. Davis Gandees is here with his very enjoyable Three Tough Marines - Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat Diorama.  Davis has included a USMC Devil Dog in this diorama....very cool indeed and a great addition to Silly Week 2019.

Kees Kuyper joins us from the Netherlands with another of his creative what-if designs.  Kees is famous on ARC and today is is here with his Jet powered DC-3 that he calls JetMAC.
