National Day |
|
Well we're back from a 4
day road trip. I was pleased to see that internet connections are
getting easier to find when traveling, which permitted me to keep the
daily updates going using content I had premade before our
departure. We visited relatives in Vancouver, Canada for 2 nights
before heading south to Seattle in the United States. This was
pretty exciting for our kids as they have never traveled outside of the
country.....so this was their first "International" trip.
My three girls enjoyed the shopping and I took in an Opel Gt car show to
get some ideas for my own wreck of an Opel GT. Our girls drove
go-carts for the first time and our 11 year old can't wait to get her
drivers licence. My wife and I also drove the carts and the rain
slicked track and slick tires gave me the chance to get goofy more than
once on the sharp corners. Our youngest and her Mom rode up the
Space Needle elevator while I took our 11 year old on the monorail.
Seattle is a great city and always fun to visit.
