Anniversary of first engagement of

Argentine Airforce Falklands War (1982)

Shawn "phantom" Weiler is here with another of his colourful CT-133 builds.  This is his 1/48 Hobbycraft CT-133 Silver Star wearing a special commemorative RCN scheme using Leading Edge Decals.  This is a pretty cool looking CT-133.

Bob TheDoc joins us from India with his bright and attractive 1/72 Hobby Boss Dewoitine D.520.  Bob chose a Vichy French colours and gave it a weathering job to add realism.  I love the colourful look of this French fighter.

Orlando Sucre Rosales joins us from Venezuela with his great looking 1/72 Hasegawa Grumman F-11F-1 Tiger (early version) “Blue Angels”.  Orlando did extra work to get the details correct for the Blue Angels version of the Tiger and then carefully finished in the correct markings.  This BA jet looks great.

Here's a product article for the 1/48 P-51D-5 cockpit resin & photo etch detail set from Eduard Model AccessoriesThis detail set is designed for the Airfix kit.  You will be required to fold the photoetch in this set, but if you have one of the Hold & Fold photo etch benders from The Small Shop, then this will be an easy process.  They have a variety of benders for sharp corners as well as rounded corners and in many different sizes.

Here's a product article for the 1/32 Gotha G. IV Landing Gear from Scale Aircraft Conversions This detail set is designed for the Wingnut Wings kit.

In the ARC Joke Page there is a new daily funny photo and daily joke.
